Préfecture de l’Aude

Archetype has worked with the Préfecture de l’Aude since 1998, initially on its public website (though this has since been redesigned and is now managed in-house). In 2000 we were given responsibility for creating an intranet to connect the 4,000 state employees in the Aude as part of a pilot scheme financed by the French government. This gave us an opportunity to develop bespoke tools to manage many aspects of the Préfecture’s work. We have continued to add numerous collaborative tools to the site, to facilitate information management, document sharing, and online groupworking.

Originally developed on a Windows server using ASP and Oracle, the site was transferred to a Linux server in 2011, and we were asked to convert some of the modules we have created to PHP.
