An effective website responds to its public. Together we will help you find the solution best adapted to your needs and your budget. Whether it is a static site of a dozen pages, a blog or an e-commerce site with thousands of products, we will help you find new clients.
See our “clients” pages for an overview of our websites and software.
The design is the first thing that the visitor sees. Even if the site has interesting content and unbeatable prices, if it looks as though it has been done by “someone’s nephew” or by a programmer more at ease with computer code, it makes a bad impression. Visitors begin to doubt. They no longer believe the site owner is a serious professional.
But a swish-looking website isn’t everything. The site also needs to reflect your business, to have instinctive navigation, and to bring in clients. We don’t believe in websites based on one-size-fits-all templates. We don’t believe in flashy websites. We believe in websites that work.
Every big website has a database behind it, even if it isn’t obvious. All content management systems are based on databases. This is where we stand out from the crowd. Many web designers get by with a limited knowledge of databases, often with dire consequences for the security, adaptability and ease-of-use of the site. With nearly 30 years’ experience of database management, we don’t “muddle through”.
One of our first sites was an online bookshop with thousands of books on sale. Veronica has taught “How to create your online shop with PHP and MySQL” for the International Webmasters Association. Evidently, she knows the subject inside-out.
The social media (Facebook, Twitter etc.) are designed to be used by people with elementary computer skills. That said, the challenge is not to learn the technical aspects but to know which media are relevant and what message is appropriate. We can advise you.
Website hosting needs to be reliable. We would be happy to arrange for the hosting of your site and/or a domain name if you don’t have them already. We work with reputable website hosting companies to guarantee you a consistently fast broadband service.

In France, Google accounts for over 90% of internet searches though in the United States other search engines such as Yahoo and Bing are also used to a significant extent.
Until recently SEO concentrated almost exclusively on keywords. It used to be said that you should put yourself in the shoes of a person looking for something you have on your site. What would you type into a search engine? That done, you should fill the page with your chosen keywords even if it made it almost unreadable.
In addition you needed incoming links even if they came from ‘link farms’, sites whose sole purpose was to improve e-commerce sites’ search engine ranking.
Thankfully Google has spotted this kind of trick and now penalises such practises.
Although it still true that you should think about keywords and incoming links, to be on the first page of Google what you need now is well-presented relevant content.
In this case relevant content means useful information related to the keyword search. Publicity for your products or service is not enough. People will visit your site and recommend it if they find objective answers to their questions. This is one of the secrets of Amazon’s success: the site allows negative reviews of products it sells.
A quality blog can attract a million visitors a year. Even if only 1% of these visitors click on the link to your commercial website that means a large number of qualified visitors – i.e. people who are truly interested in your products or services.
It’s a lot of work, but an essential part of a marketing strategy.
Don’t forget to link off-line publicity to the site and use the same graphic ideas everywhere to enhance recognition.
We can help you be seen.
A website is never finished. In order to continue to attract visitors it needs updating. That’s why we prefer to stay in contact with our clients rather than putting the site on line and going on to the next one. Maintenance and updating are as important to us as creation. This is why we factor them into our tenders, either providing systems for you to use or suggesting how we might be involved.
If you would like to know more about our services, don’t hesitate to contact us (tel: +33 (0)4 68 43 52 38) for a free no-obligation consultation.
As well as our expertise in graphic design, we have considerable knowledge of database creation, programming and project management, with over 25 years’ experience in these areas. Some of our sites have been developed using PHP and MySQL, a combination which limits costs. We also use ready-made content management systems (mainly WordPress) for ease of updating, if they correspond to the client’s needs. However, unlike many small web design companies, if necessary, we can develop sites from scratch. All sites are tested with the latest browsers.
